The Rim Country Optimist Club was chartered in August 15, 1996 as a member of Optimist International. Optimist Clubs around the world are dedicated to "Bringing Out the Best in Kids." Adult volunteers conduct positive service projects in our communities aimed at providing a helping hand to youth.  Some of our club's more recent projects include:  Student of the Quarter recognition, scholarships, Kid's Fishing Festival, Spelling Bee, holiday dinner assistance for over 200 families, judging speech and essay contests, support for school sports, Boy and Girl Scout troops, Easter Egg Hunt, National Night Out, Firemen's BBQ, Payson Christmas Light Parade, etc.

Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month at the Cedar Ridge Restaurant at 5:30 p.m.  Visitors are always welcome!
